Where I Stand

I don’t believe in talking points.

I believe in responsibility, accountability, and fixing what’s broken.

Some issues are complicated. Some are not.

Here is where I stand—plainly.

Border & Security

A country without borders is not a country.

South Texas lives with the consequences of past federal failure every day—not on cable news, but in real life.

I support:

  • Enforcing existing immigration laws.

  • Securing the border with action, not excuses.

  • Ending policies that reward chaos and punish communities.

Compassion and enforcement are not opposites.

Neglect is not compassion.

Law Enforcement & Public Safety

Safety is not political. It’s foundational.

I stand with:

  • Law enforcement officers who do their jobs with integrity, and many times, danger.

  • Communities that deserve protection, not abandonment.

  • Accountability for leadership—not scapegoating the people on the ground.

When systems fail, the answer isn’t to point fingers.
It’s to fix them.

Jobs, Work, and the Economy

Work matters. Showing up matters.

I support:

  • Policies that reward work, not dependency.

  • Small businesses instead of bureaucracies.

  • Cutting waste, fraud and abuse so resources actually reach the people who need them.

Most people don’t want handouts.
They want opportunity, and dignity.

Health, Disease and Public Infrastructure

When systems break down, disease spreads—
whether it’s human or animal.

I believe:

  • Public health requires structure, coordination and accountability.

  • Ignoring problems doesn’t make them disappear—
    it multiplies them.

  • Prevention is cheaper and smarter than crisis response.

Neglect always costs more in the end.

Animal Welfare (Yes—It Matters)

Animal welfare is not a “side issue”.
It’s a warning sign.

When animals are abandoned, abused
and left to suffer, it tells you
something bigger is broken.

Enforcement. Funding. Education. Coordination.

I don’t believe in emotional slogans.
I believe in systems that work.

Which brings me to the plan.

IDEAS STAY IDEAS IF YOU ONLY TALK ABOUT THEM.
FIRST YOU NEED A PLAN.
THEN YOU NEED ACTION.
